Liberation requires us to work together to co-create harmony

But the way we are currently working together is not working.

How CODA™ Works

We help cultivate people, align organizational systems, and develop awareness and understanding to support effective collaboration.

Our three CODA™ service areas address our Pillars of Organizational Alignment:

Organizational Development

Power, Belonging, & Justice

Embodied Awareness

Organizational Development

Liberation is a journey and a destination.

We must work together to get there.

How we work together matters.

We uplevel how your group works together through comprehensive and holistic support across all

10 Dimensions of Organizations

DEFINITIONS

  • The shared ideology of the group

  • Where and how the group and its work is located (geographically, in the movement, site of intervention/mission, in time/generational)

  • What the group is working together to achieve

  • Who is in the group and their individual/internal makeup

  • Assumptions, norms, and values that contribute to the social and psychological environment of the group

  • Formal arrangements of people, power, and how the work is done

  • Discreet, time-bound tasks that have a clear beginning and end (ex: hiring, strategic planning, performance reviews, etc.)

  • Ongoing day-to-day activities that enable the organization to function

  • Explicit group agreements and directives (ex: compensation, PTO, grievance/conflict navigation, etc)

  • How individuals in the group connect and relate

Power, Belonging, & Justice

Liberation requires a shared analysis that is nuanced and precise.

Our analytical framework evolves the focus of our attention and interventions from the three main areas of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) to Power, Belonging, & Justice (PBJ)

Put simply, PBJ asks:

Power

Who does or has the ability to influence the group?

Belonging:

Who and what is accepted, valued, & nourished by the group?

Justice:

For whom and how does the group respond to needs and repair harm?

We believe that humans are in harmony when power, belonging, and justice are organized across the eight nested dimensions of human relationships:

Embodied Awareness

Liberation requires inner sovereignty.

Inner sovereignty is the ability to make true choices about how we perceive and relate to ourselves and others.

Embodied Awareness uses tools like the Map of the Self, Zones of Activation, and Parts Work to help us become more conscious of our mind, body, and soul so that we can:

  • Understand where our actions/choices arise from

  • Develop the ability to make different choices

  • Become more sovereign

Harmonize Map of The Self

Inner sovereignty requires us to be aware and intentional about how these parts of ourselves are operating.
